♠ - In the arms of a stranger - ♠

I lay there in a comatose, dreams flooding through my throbbing head.

I don't know how long I had been laying there on this hospital bed or how I got here.

I slowly opened up my eyes and saw my family around me.

"Where am I and how long have I been OUT?" 

I said through clenched teeth as I attempted to sit upright.

My family or should I say my brother told me I should not even be alive right now,

before my mom broke in and pushed me back down on to the mattress-bed.

"How did I end up here, and why am I here?"

"You don't remember?" My brother asked as he sat on the edge of my bed looking confused.

"No, I just remember running and everything going black on me."

"Some one took your hand and brought you out of the fire."

My mother said as she brushed my hair out of my face lovingly.

"Where is he?"

I asked earnestly.

"Oh, that is right you were still in your comatose state when he left us."

My mother said sadly.

"What do you mean?"

My mom took my hand and looked into my eyes while saying

"Sweetie, The man who saved you is dead, he passed away two hours ago."

"What, How did this happen?"

"Honey, the man was very sick and the fumes were too much for him to handle."

I stood there motionless as I thought to myself 

("I never even got to say thank you to him.")

Two weeks later

I went to his funeral and spoke for it.

"Mister Angel is my hero, if it would not have been for him I would have been dead and this would have been my funeral instead of his."

I said as tears started to fall from my eyes.

"Because of his bravery and his uncaring about his own life I am here today."

"My hope and prayer is that he did not suffer much and that he is in Heaven now. I may not have known him personally but I feal so indebted to him."

Were my closing words as I stepped down from the stage with my eyes full of tears.

I would never be the same again after the love that man showed for me a complete stranger, yet he was willing to give up his own life to save me.

It reminded me of how Jesus gave his life to save us from our sins, so that we might get a second chance to see God's glory. 

I will Always remember my hero

Human angels can come with in many forms and dress. They are right next to you in your daily life. 

pain and open your heart to those in need.

We all can be angels to our fellow humans. Remember to be there for one in pain and open your heart to those in need.
